About

Shannon is an illustrator, designer, and author from Long Island, New York. She started drawing at a very young age just like everyone else, and has the great fortune of continuing that practice well into adulthood! Her work depicts on a variety of subjects, including nature, fantasy, and mythology. Most recently, her focus has shifted to depicting wildlife. She has shown artwork nationally through online galleries such as James May Gallery and Art Gallery 118, and locally in NYC at in-person galleries and competitions, such as Exhibition Outreach in conjunction with ChaShaMaSha through The Art Student’s League and the yearly Art Show presented by Sixpoint Brewery. Outside of being a painter herself, she loves to bring that skill and passion to others. She hosts Paint and Inebriate events both online and in person. You can also find her at local craft fairs and art events selling prints and products featuring her art.

Shannon is a candidate in the MFA-Illustration program at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
